Sweater Weather

Sweater Weather

Sweater Weather: Featuring an oversized comfy sweater, dark wash blue jeans, thigh high black boots, and a black flat brim hat.

Winter has officially started in DC with our first snow yesterday. I don’t like winter, so I sat inside for most of the day and used it as an excuse to watch the Hunger Games movies. Unfortunately for me, I can’t just hibernate through the whole season. I want to look nice without freezing to death, and that’s surprisingly difficult when you hate layering.

I’ve got 2 go-to sweaters in winter–one that’s for staying inside all day and getting crumbs on yourself, and another that’s for leaving the house looking nice and comfy. It feels like a fuzzy blanket on the inside and it’s easy to dress up. Add a couple accessories and a good pair of boots and I’m comfy without looking like an abominable snowman. As you can tell, these thigh-high boots are my favorite purchase of 2016. They go with everything and dress up everything. Comfy, cute, and minimal layers–my dream winter outfit!

While I’m hibernating, I’m also thinking about my spring wardrobe (aka brighter days). I’m looking forward to sharing my ideas with y’all! How do you keep comfy and cute in winter time? Let me know in the comments and make sure you subscribe below!

Lots of love,
Abigail
