Mysticism: Inspired by a Half-Baked Understanding of the Bhagavad Gita

One of my favorite things about DC is the plethora of street festivals and all of the unique things people sell at them. Today’s look was inspired by these awesome pants I purchased from a street vendor here in DC. He told me they were from his home province in

India, and that he goes back there frequently and purchases clothing and jewelry to resell. I’m guessing he makes a killing with the exchange rate, but I fell in love with these bright orange pants the second I saw them! These are the type of pants that grab the attention of everyone in the room! I paired them with a forest green top to pull out the subtle green detailing on the pants, and a 90s throwback choker.

Have you ever found a must-have piece at a street vendor, or are you more of a department store person? Does your neighborhood have a street festival, or are dying to go to one? As always, let me know your thoughts in the comment section below!

Lots of love,
