Honey Mustard
Honey Mustard
It’s 2018 and my life is hectic. So much action has been packed into the last few weeks! I went home for the holidays, came back and saw friends from out of town, came back to a crazy hectic workplace and now I’m working on moving. Whew! Life comes at you fast, and my blog posts got pushed back further and further. But two weeks ago I visited CityCenterDC for winter restaurant week, and it’s so instagrammable, so I had to capture some shots!
If you haven’t taken advantage of restaurant week in DC, you’re seriously missing out. It’s like 200 different restaurants offering discounted lunch and dinner prix fixe menus. You get a three course lunch for $22 or dinner for $35. This time around we checked out Fig & Olive, which is a Mediterranean restaurant that specializes in olive oil.
This kind of place gives the best bang for your buck during restaurant week because you get a three-course meal for the price of an entree. I was ready to leave that place looking 5 months pregnant with a food baby, so I needed cute, comfy, and not super fitted. So this look was inspired by maternity clothes! I’m kidding, but a good sweater dress will never do you wrong.
I’m into this delicious goldenrod shade of yellow that I’ve dubbed honey mustard. It was nice to get out of the house and get a little cute! Lately, I’ve been totally overwhelmed with moving and getting everything together, so my blog has fallen a bit behind. I’m looking forward to getting settled in, decorating like crazy, and getting back to giving you guys some #styleinspo on the regular π
How’s your 2018 looking so far? Did you also celebrate the Patriot’s defeat this past weekend? Let me know in the comments below!
Lots of love,
Gorgeous!!! And I’m hungry lmaoooo
