3 Fall Trends I’m Crazy For
Summer is coming to a close, and although summer is my favorite season, I’m looking forward to the start of fall and fall’s new trends. It marks the change of seasons the way back-to-school shopping used to do before I graduated. I used to spend hours trying to decide what I was going to wear on the first day of school—you had to stunt as hard as possible to set yourself up for the rest of the school year. And even though there isn’t a day like that in the working world, you can still stunt on your coworkers with these three fall trends.
I love pink in almost any shade, so it’s no surprise that when I saw this hue dominating the runway, I was immediately sold. Millennial pink has had a hold on fashion for the last few years, but I’m living for its saturated sister. I paired it with neutrals to let the color really shine since it’s going to steal the spotlight anyways.
Earlier this year, I talked about how statement sunglasses were all the rage this spring. That hasn’t really changed (and neither has my love for it), but this fall I’m particularly obsessed with small sunglasses. Bella Hadid’s street style totally sold me on them. It’s a refreshing break from sunglasses that take over your whole face, and its slim silhouette nicely complements the louder fall trends this year.
Belt bags and I have had a…complicated relationship. I hated them when they first came out. Someone wanted to bring back fanny packs without having to call them fanny packs since those were for theme parks and old tourists. The designer translation was belt bag, and I thought it was pretentious and ridiculous. But somewhere along the way, the joke was on me, because I started to fall for them. Maybe it’s the way they cinch the waist and give that hourglass shape. Or maybe it’s the convenient placement that hides my food baby. Either way, I’m into it.
Ready for fall?
It’s still a little too warm here to wear a lot of the other fall trends, but these three are ones you can try no matter the weather! I can’t wait to add fuchsia to my fall color palette and brighten it up. Speaking of fuchsia, you may have recognized my flamingo earrings if you follow me on instagram. I’ve been obsessed with them all summer and finally have an excuse to drag them into another season. If you aren’t already following me on instagram, make sure you do to keep up with all my Geminian looks between blog posts!
I’m also now on Bloglovin! Follow my blog with Bloglovin to keep all your favorite blog updates in one place.
Are you going to try one of these fall trends? Is there one I didn’t mention that you’re excited for? Let me know in the comments!
Lots of love,
